At the Fresno County Academic Decathlon Competition, held at Clovis East on Feb. 5, the varsity members of the team competed in the Super Quiz, for which each contestant had to answer 10 questions on geology.
After realizing that he selected the correct response, senior Tyler Haritzalde, left, cannot conceal his excitement. His victory added one point to the group’s total, which factored into the team’s overall score at the competition.
