With exactly eight days until the anticipated Night of the Stars event, boys are pressured to think of creative ways to ask a girl to be their date.

Senior Alex Campama, back, asked senior Emily Shoettler, front, to NOTS by leaving her a note on her car to meet him in the chemistry lab, where he presented her with a bouquet of flowers and rose petals spelling out “NOTS?” on the lab table.

Shoettler accepted his offer and thanked him for the bouquet of red roses.
