Arbor Day is celebrated by planting trees around the nation, April 29.
The Arbor Day Foundation created this day to highlight the importance of trees and how they help the Earth. Trees provide clean air and water, slow the climate change and make safe homes for animals.
This day is usually celebrated the last week in April but changes depending on when your area grows trees the best and when it is the best time to plant. Goals are set during these times to help replenish damaged forests and help cities get clean air.
Go green and plant a tree to help replenish forests and provide clean air for everyone.
