Second grader Elise Reedy brought in 86 Operation Christmas child boxes this year on collection day, Nov. 10.
FC students K-12 have been encouraged to participate in packing shoeboxes for Samaritans Purse, who’s goal is to demonstrate God’s love to children in need all around the world.
Operation Christmas child boxes are filled with toys, supplies, accessories and non-liquid hygiene items for ages 2-14. Students are encourage to find one “Wow” item that will excite your child. As a bonus donors have the option of paying $7 to track their package and see where in the world it may land.
Help Samaritans Purse reach out to children in need by donating a box by Nov. 21.
