With the whole week off, many students are planning on traveling.

Because of the shelter in place extension, spring break will consist of staying at home and avoiding contact with other people, April 4-12.
President Donald Trump recently announced that the shelter in place order has been pushed back to April 30. In past years, students have had the opportunity to travel during spring break or spend time with friends and family. Due to the extension, social interaction and vacation destinations are off limits until further notice.
Below is a list of attractions that have closed down due to the coronavirus outbreak:
Santa Cruz Boardwalk
Six Flags
Disneyland/California Adventure
SeaWorld
Yosemite (closed to all except residents and authorized employees)
Universal Studios
Knott’s Berry Farm
Sequiona National Park
Kings Canyon National Park
During all of the chaos, it is easy to forget the real reason for spring break. This week is the Holy Week to remember Jesus’ crucifixion and resurrection. Palm Sunday, April 5, Good Friday, April 10 and Easter, April 12, are main focuses during this week.
Because of social distancing, churches will be holding live services to celebrate this week.
