Coming from a family of nine, eldest son and  junior David Tuck joined the Fresno Christian community freshman year. Leaving the comforts of the known homeschool world, Tuck shares about bitterness that he struggled with at the start of a new school.

Learning to accept change, the community of FCS began to reveal opportunities and blessings that is so thankful for now. When you meet David,  it is always a friendly hello, polite interaction and a smile.

Playing piano began early in his life around the age of six and by seventh grade, Tuck had composed his first piece titled, A Field of Daisies. Frequently, you can see Tuck playing piano  and guitar for his church youth group, main service and on the Fresno Christian Worship team. During his interview adviser Kori James threw out random movie scores and even classic rock that Tuck was able to quickly generate. His musical skills truly are extraordinary.

When he’s not helping with his six brothers and little sister, David enjoys watching movies, playing The Legend of Zelda, and hanging with friends.  Calculus has proven to be a new challenge this year, however, the instruction  and influence of teacher Scott Bucher makes the long study hours worth it.

Tuck plans to attend college and continue improving his musical talents and spiritual growth. His encouragement to students is to find joy that supasses the chaos and fear of the world, the kind of joy that only come from the Lord.
