Senior Orion Tomlinson surpasses his 1500th career point facing off against Alpaugh, Jan. 27.

This milestone was honored while the game was paused and Tomlinson was presented with a commemorative basketball imprinted with his achievement. The crowd cheered while the team rushed the court to celebrate with him. As a surprise, past players came from all over the state as well as out of state to be present for Tomlinson’s big moment.

Career points refers to his varsity CIF high school games only. Playing all four years as a varsity player helped make this possible even with a shorter season during COVID. Tomlinson plans to keep playing the game long after this season ends.

Congrats Orion! Way to go!
