CONVOCATION
Since May 3 is National Day of Prayer, the school would like to gather for a morning convocation inviting all grades and their parents. Similar to the one in the beginning of the school year, this will feature worship music and speaking. It will start at 8 a.m. in the Peoples Church Sanctuary and end at 8:30 a.m. Due to convocation being during the school hours, the schedule has been altered a little:
Period 0: 7-7:50 a.m.
Convocation: 8-8:40 a.m.
Period 1: 8:45-9:25 a.m.
Period 2: 9:30-10:10 a.m.
Break: 10:15-10:25 a.m.
Period 3: 10:25-11:10 a.m.
Period 4: 11:15 a.m.-12 p.m.
Period 5: 12:05-12:45 p.m.
Lunch: 12:45-1:20 p.m.
Period 7: 1:25-2:10 p.m.
Period 8: 2:15-3 p.m.
FRESNO CITY COUNCIL HONORS FEATHER
Council Member Clint Olivier has invited The Feather Online to City Hall and would like to recognize them after they were honored as a Pacemaker, All-American and Crown award-winning paper this school year. The Council member would like to give each Feather staffer a certificate of recognition as well as serve the entire group with a proclamation for their success. City Hall officials will do this during a council meeting April 26, starting at 8:30 a.m.
ATHLETIC SCHOLARSHIPS
If any seniors are receiving athletic scholarships from colleges, the student body would like to know. These scholarships are important and a sign of success so the athletic department would like to share it with the community. The accomplishments will be shared with The Feather and the Fresno Bee. If a student is interested, please contact the high school office.
SPORTS PHYSICALS
Sports physicals will be May 8 from 6-7 p.m. in Rooms 602 and 604. The cost is $25.00 for a physical. Checks may be payable to Dr. Gonzalez. All students who plan on playing a sport for the next school year are recommended to get their physical here.
DETENTION WARNING
Michelle Warkentin will now be monitoring all tardies and holding detention on Mondays for the students who qualify.
