Welcome back Fresno Christian! Students, staff and the FC community fill the Peoples Church Auditorium, celebrating the opening of the 2025-2026 school year, Aug. 6.
Convocation kicked off with a performance from FC alumni, Tyler Maxey, Julia Castiglione, Milly Morgan, Max Morgan, Zoe Blanchfield and Lyla Hinton led by Daniel Garrison, The songs played include “The Joy”, “Holy Forever” and “Abide”.
Following the initial worship, Principal Amy Deffenbacher welcomed back Kindergarten-12th Grade students and families. Superintendent Jeremy Brown began his message with the theme verse of the year, Philippians 4:8. To end the 2025-2026 convocation, Bridge Church Pastor, Andrew Smith prayed over staff, students and families.
Verse: Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable – if anything is excellent or praiseworthy – think about such things.
The new school year welcomes 13 middle school and 18 high school students.
