Next stop: Destination Homecoming! Congratulations to the 40th Fresno Christian Homecoming candidates. Voted in by their peers, The Feather presents the Senior King nominees Benson Elbert, Christian Martinez, Bryce Smith, Tycen Ramirez, and Braden Belmont. The big event will happen Friday, Sept. 26. Princesses are introduced at 6:30 p.m. before kickoff at 7, and winners will be crowned at halftime.
Benson Elbert
Benson Elbert has attended Fresno Christian since the seventh grade. If Elbert were given a million dollars, he would buy exactly 83,543 boxes of Famous Amos cookies. When asked about where he would go on his dream destination, Elbert said he wishes to travel to Scotland. Elbert’s favorite bible verse is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Teleportation so I would never be late again.
Christian Martinez
Christian Martinez has been a student at FCS since fourth grade. Martinez’s favorite Bible verse is Romans 14:8, “For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s”. If he could only eat from one restaurant for the rest of his life, Martinez would choose In-n-Out.

Bryce Smith
Bryce Smith has gone to FCS since third grade. The number one item on his adventure list is visiting Tokyo. Smith believes the most important quality in a mate is trust. When asked who his personal hero is, Smith answered his dad, Andrew Smith. Smith’s favorite Bible verse is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope”.

Tycen Ramirez
Tycen Ramirez has attended FCS since fifth grade. If he had to only eat at one fast food restaurant for the rest of his life, Ramirez would choose In-n-Out. When asked which superpower he would choose, Ramirez said he would choose super speed. Ramirez would buy his own beach house if he were given a million dollars.
What is the most important quality in a mate?
Willingness to make me food or putting up with me.

Three, two boys and one little princess.

Braden Belmont
Braden Belmont has been a student at FCS since his Freshman year. Belmont’s dream destination is Bora Bora. When asked who his Hollywood crush is, Belmont said Madelyn Cline. His favorite bible verse is Romans 8:38-39, “For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate is from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord”.
