Fresno Christian celebrates its 40th annual homecoming with an eventful evening of football, fun and floats on Sept. 26.
The Fresno Christian Eagles faced off against the Cornerstone Cougars, ultimately, defeating the Cougars 48-22, giving the FC community an exciting homecoming game.
This year’s candidates were announced during halftime, riding onto the field in vintage cars and escorted by their parents. The court announcements echoed through the stadium followed by loud shouts, piercing whistles and a band of claps. The highly anticipated king, queen, prince and princess candidate winners are:
King- Braden Belmont
Prince- Benson Elbert
Queen- Danielle Arndt
Princess- Jordyn DeGroot
Junior Princess- Mayalina Cortez
Sophomore Princess- Riley Price
Freshman Princess- Presley Meyers
The theme for this year’s festivities was Destination Homecoming, where one find themselves not only on the field but all across the world with this year’s high school float winners:
Juniors- Tokyo, Japan
Seniors- Paris, France
Sophomores- Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Freshman- Venice, Italy
