During my fourth period Spanish I class, the guest drummer arrived. Excitement began to stir in me at the thought of a special performance.
All my hopes and dreams were crushed when Senorita told the class that he was doing a presentation for the Spanish II and III students….
I soon understood the reason behind the privilege of this special guest. We were the Spanish I class and the other classes were learning much more difficult information. This was a treat to reward the classes for all their hard work.
I guess this privilege will come when I move up to Spanish II.
