After a tiresome day at school, students may feel their stomachs aching for nourishment. Fried ramen noodles offer a perfect solution with a twist on the college student’s lunch of choice. Its unique, delicious taste will satisfy hunger in as little time as it takes to prepare it.
Most of the ingredients for this recipe can be found in the standard pantry:
1 package of ramen noodles (with seasoning)
Butter
Peas and peppers
1 egg
1 cup of water
Preparation time: 10 minutes.
Step 1: Boil 1 cup of water in a medium pot over medium heat.
Step 2: When the water comes to a boil, break up the crunchy ramen noodles and place them in the pot. Cook for 3 minutes.
Step 3: While the noodles soften, coat the bottom of a medium saucepan in butter and set over medium heat.
Step 4: After the noodles have cooked in the pot for 3 minutes, remove them and place them in the saucepan. Add the seasoning that came with the package and stir completely.
Step 5: Fry the noodles in the saucepan for 3 minute until golden brown.
Now with the recipe complete, the savory noodles are ready to eat. This simple meal quiets hunger pangs at any time of the day.
To indulge a voracious appetite, stir in frozen peas and peppers while frying. Add scrambled eggs to the mix for a flavorful boost.
