The prospect of being drenched in front of fellow peers may seem embarrassing for some students. However, a sultry afternoon destroyed this stigma as many students found the 30-ft slip ‘n’ slide at the campus kick-off carnival as a refreshing relief, Aug. 29.
One elementary student slides head-first into a pool of water, while also using sunglasses to thwart the penetrating sun.
Many sports teams, clubs and classes designed various booths to raise money for future needs. From crazy hair stations to running competitions to cake walks, the booths ranged in various interests for many different attenders.
