During the Feb. 2 home game against Parlier, the girls’ and boys’ varsity basketball teams sold pink “Find a Cure” wristbands to respect those victimized by breast cancer. A majority of the profits made from these wristbands was donated to Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Pink Zone to help find a cure for breast cancer.
In addition to wristbands, many showed up to the games in their best pink apparel. Girls team members wore pink ribbons in their hair, pink shoelaces, and used a pink basketball in their game, while the boys donned pink wristbands.
