During Heritage Day, presented by Madera Historical Firefighters and City of Madera Parks and Community Services Department, senior writer Andrew Evans volunteers to work at a face-painting booth, Oct. 9.
Some journalism students participated in this event by volunteering to work at other booths such as the snow cone machine, water games and a bounce house at Lions Town and Country Park in Madera.
