Every year the elusive Grad Nite party is enshrouded in mystery. Rumors fly through the halls as students speculate on potential plans. A few selected parents plan the event and keep most information about the evening undisclosed.
Parents and teachers worked unrelentingly to ensure that the senior class’ last assembly will be a memorable one.
Despite a lack of knowledge about the night, seniors expect a great time.
“I’m definitely going to the Grad Nite party,” Tyler Wiebe, ’04 said. “Why would anyone not go? It’s going to be a blast.”
Alumni quickly recall fond memories when asked about their experiences in previous years.
“Grad Nite was a lot of fun,” Brandon Nimon, ’03, said. “We crammed a lot of last chances into one night. I brought a whole case of Bawl’s energy drinks, so we were up all night.”
While few know exactly what the night will hold, there is sure to be more than enough to eat and drink, and plenty of prizes.
“I’m really, really excited,” Cale Livingston, ’04 said. “My brother [Austin, ?03] went last year and he got a grip load of money and free food; he said he had a great time. I am looking forward to hopefully winning $200 in Best Buy gift certificates.”
Every year activities and locations change, but it is always a great experience. This year the seniors will meet at 10:30 P.M. in the FC parking lot on May 20th directly after graduation. The entire event costs each participant $40.
