Pumpkins are set up throughout the month of October in anticipation for Halloween night, Oct. 31.
Many FC students will attend gatherings, while others will choose to do the traditional trick or treating around their neighborhoods. Some on the other hand don’t celebrate Halloween in any way. This is the first event of the fall season and usually means cooler weather is coming.
Please comment about the traditions your family has; How do you choose to spend your night on Oct. 31?

We worked in churches and Halloween was always controversial so we always tried to make it a ministry but very fun. We love working with kids and youth so we put out creativity to work and had the best events ever.

When our children were young and at home I would set up a elaborate scene with the scariest things I could create. We had a steady stream of kids comeing by and it was fun to heare there ractions to the set-up.
When we moved and the girls moved out and started there own family I continued for a few years but there were fewer kids and we wanted to be with the grand kids so its been years .
It was fun but I did it for the kids and passed the baton on to the next generation.
Thanks for the stimulating thoughts, you brought back found memories.

When we had children at home I would set up a elaborate set-up with all the trimings and sound, we had a lot of people from the neighborhood as well as kids from outside, it was a joy to see the reactions and hear the reactions.
When the Girls moved out and we were in our new house I found that we had fewer people comeing by so sfter a few years I stoped setting up and as we were Gra dparent
