Senior Zoe House, won multiple awards for her writing entered in  Central Valley Young Writers Prize, Dec. 4.

House entered two short stories and two poems into the competition. She won first place for one of her stories in her age group and received honors awards for the rest of her pieces.

“I shook with excitement,” House said. “Writing is something I love to do and it was such an honor to receive these awards.”

This is the second time House has entered and won an award for her writing.
