The 2015 year is said to bring the largest El Nińo since 1998. The first large storm arrived to China Peak this morning and currently building the base for this year’s season, Dec. 10.
China Peak has been open for the past two weekends and is still only open weekends, due to weather condition. To date, Chair 2 and Chair 6 are open, along with the lower mountain beginner area.
According to weather forecasts, another bigger storm is on the way early next week. It is predicted to be a great snow season.
