As the days count down until this weekend’s Sadie Hawkins event, sophomore Ashley Erickson asks senior Josiah Ford to be her date by making a chocolate cake with fondant people on it, April 6.

Erickson left the cake on Ford’s desk in his third-period economics class. When he entered the room, Ford saw the cake, and then made his way back out into the hall to gladly accept Erickson’s offer.

Throughout the class period, Ford allowed his classmates to taste the cake Erickson had baked the previous night.
