The drama team scrambled to ensure that their chapel skit would be ready in time. The lights dimmed and attention focused on the stage as they performed their play. The play encouraged excitement for the upcoming night rally.
The play, written and produced by the drama students, was held in Ground Zero on Aug. 26.
“Drama is interesting and fun to be in,” Ashley Hall, ’08, said. “I want to continue drama through all my years of high school.”
The drama team plans to produce more plays later in the year.
“I like the plays we perform to be humorous and understandable,” Ron Blalack,’06, said. “Like McDonalds says, ?I’m lovin it’ and I will finish high school in drama.”
As drama decides which plays to perform, they consider the message they are trying to put across.
“We want people to learn Christian morals and find motivation to serve God from our plays,” Chris White,’05, said. “This is my second year in drama, and I love the impact we can have on peoples lives.
