Foreign exchange students find new friendship thousands miles away from home at FC after the first week of second semester, Jan. 8.

Leaving family for the first time and studying in foreign country, usually requires lots of courage for the international student to pursue education over sea. The language barrier and cultural differences are just few examples of what exchange students must face when studying in American.

“The academics here at FC is easier compare to China.” said Cao, “The students here are very kind and help me when I have question.”

The new relationship international students form with each other also helps them improve English communication skill as well as become more comfortable in a new environment.
