A former FC student, Steve Callisch plays for the Clovis West High School varsity volleyball team as a sophomore. Clovis West played Granite Bay High School in March at Clovis West.

Steve is the son of teacher, Scott Callisch who coached in the past and now experiences games as a spectator.

“This past week I had the opportunity to watch my son Steve play in the Valley Championship for boys volleyball for Clovis West High School,” Scott said. “I’ve coached in a few Valley Championships, but this was a new experience for me as a spectator. It was very nerve-wracking having no control but feeling all the pressure. He preformed well in a loss to Buchanan and is looking forward to meeting them again next year.”
