When the school’s first home football field opened it did not have a press box, rather a roped off square at the top of the stands for the announcers. Then a year later, a sophomore parent, Bob Christopher, built a press box. Now it is freshly painted and ready for the home game against Tranquillity High School, Oct. 7.
Things such as this have slowly come to be as part of the final touches to make the football field look complete.
