This year is leap year which means the quadrennial day of February 29th is here again. Leap day brings many traditions and customs all over the world.
If you are from Ireland, Leap day is also known as Bachelors day. According to an old Irish tradition, woman are allowed to propose on this day, because they were tired of waiting for their boyfriends to pop the question.
In the FC community freshman Sophia Kalugin, is watching the movie Leap Year to celebrate.
“Tonight my family will be watching the movie Leap Year,” shared Kalugin. “Since the movie takes place in Ireland we will be eating Irish food.”
