The Eagles were wary of a let-down against the Hawks after beating them earlier in the month, but FC came out gunning in the first, scoring 26 points. Senior Cooper Belmont led the visitors with 29 points. The Eagles went on to defeat Minarets, 79-42, for the championship.
Belmont was named the MVP of the tournament team and senior teammates Brady Lee and Chandler Vargas were named to the All-Tournament team. This is the first preseason tournament win for the Eagles in the last five years. Last year FC won the Valley Championship at the end of the season.

After Christmas, the boys will travel to Laton to play in the Mustangs Holiday Invitational, Dec. 28-30.
