Bell says the love and ultimate sacrifice of Christ sets a perfect example for the mentality believers need to posses.
“How do we know Jesus loves us?” Bell said. “Did he not prove it to us? He didn’t just tell us, he showed us. He didn’t just talk about it he did it, he put that work in. He told us that he loved us and he was going to prove it by dying on the cross for us. He’s telling us that if we’re his followers he gave us that example.”
He urges the student body to put their lives under scrutiny and to realign their purpose with Christ.

“If we claim to be Christians, we can’t just talk about it, we got to be about it,” Bell said. “If we love God we will prove it by obeying what is in his word. He calls us to live higher, to obey the Bible because that is what is going to bring others back to Him. If you claim to be a Christian, examine your life.”
The FCA strives to impact the lives of young athletes for the glory of Jesus Christ through camps, speakers and a variety of other activities designed to develop character and draw hearts to the cross.
“We present to athletes and coaches and all who they influence, the challenge and adventure of accepting Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior,” According the FCA. “Serving Him in their relationships and in the fellowship of the church”
