Sophomores Emily Shakeshaft, left to right, Annalise Rosik and Vivana Hinojosa attend one the many classes taught at the Columbia Scholastic Press Association (CSPA) conference, located a Columbia University, March 16.
The class was mainly about the ethics of journalism and where the “line” should be drawn when trying to gather photos or information pertinent to an article. Students had the opportunity to attend a maximum of five lectures a day to learn more about journalism from guest speakers who are trained in the field.
