This is the 33rd episode of “FC Underground, 2015-’16,” covering the week of May 2 – May 6, 2016. Seniors Kevin Garcha and Kylie Bell were selected to be the new hosts for the 2015-’16 school year. FC Underground is a weekly vlog co-hosted by Garcha and Bell, filmed and produced by senior videographer Tim Nyberg.

T.E.A. Talks
A new group called TEA Talks has formed on campus and is lead by juniors Hannah Nale and Jennifer King. It is open to all HS girls and is meant to build friendships in Christ while encouraging others and learning about the Word.

Writing Club
The club provides a space at school for students to explore interests in creative writing. For more information, contact club leaders Emily Ladd, Skyler Lee, or Nicole Hudecek.
Cinco de Mayo
The Annual Cinco de Mayo lunch put on by the CSF club is this Thursday! Don’t miss out on this chance to enjoy some great Mexican food, music, and a piñata while supporting the CSF club. $5 for a burrito or nachos, drink, and dessert! CSF members and teachers will get a $2 off discount! (CSF members may not go off campus for lunch on this day).
Break the Barriers
FC is looking for students to volunteer for Break the Barriers on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Volunteer work will count for hours toward CSF.
Brother to Brother
Brother to Brother t-shirts are available to be purchased. They will cost $7 which can be given to Vicky Belmont in the high school office. There will be a training session for older brothers, May 3.
Spring Formal Pictures
Spring formal pictures can be picked up in the high school office starting Tue. April 26.
AP Tests
AP tests will be held the first and second weeks of May. Students should plan to arrive 15 minutes early. For test dates and times, contact Michelle Warkentine.
Summer Programs Hosted at College Campuses
Now is the time to register for summer programs hosted at college campuses around the nation. Attending a summer program can be an amazing experience and add value to your college application. If you are a 10th or 11th grader and are interested in attending a program please contact Michelle Warkentin. Experiences range from ecology and engineering programs all the way to art and fashion programs.
Juniors
The next SAT test is on June 4, the registration deadline is May 5. If the deadline is missed you can still register for the test’s late registration with a fee at https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat
The next ACT test is on June 11, the registration deadline is May 6. You can register online at www.actstudent.org a
Seniors
Seniors who have applied to a local SCCCD community college must complete their online orientation as soon as possible. If you have any questions please contact Michelle Warkentin.
Local Cash for College Workshops are also being held now where you can receive help completing the application http://www.csac.ca.gov/ccfc.asp.
Seniors-ELM/EPT test
Seniors who have applied to a CSU, don’t forget to sign up for your ELM/EPT test if you do not meet the minimum testing/class eligibility requirements. To sign up log in here. The April test at Fresno State is only available for Fresno Unified students, so if you have not yet signed up you will need to register for the May test or an upcoming April test at another CSU campus. When you are registering you will be asked for your State Student ID Number. This number is 0000000000 (10 zeros). If you have any questions feel free to contact Michelle Warkentin.
Drama performance of “Hello Dolly”
Kyle Dodson’s drama class is putting on the musical production of Hello Dolly!, May 17. Tickets and times will be announced soon.
ESL help for International Students
Tamara Hill will be available in the library on Mondays and Tuesdays from 3-4 p.m. for ESL support for our international students. Any questions can be directed to Hill.

“FC Underground” first ran in the fall of 1997 and continued until the spring of 2001. In the fall of 2009, editor-in-chief Suzanna Quiring , ’10, resumed the series, which was then produced by Paige Powell, ’10. After Quiring and Powell graduated, Brooke Stobbe and David Casuga took up the job until the end the 2011-’12 school year. Callista Fries took over after Brooke Stobbe in 2012-’13, and hosted through spring 2015. Now, seniors Kevin Garcha, Kylie Bell and Tim Nyberg continue the segments.
