Claire Kollenkark, ’16, struts down the streets of New York City while posing for her senior pictures, May 1.
While harnessing her creative passions, Kollenkark has decided to study studio art and interior design at Fresno City Community College in the fall of 2016. Ideally, she would love to become a leading interior designer in the visionary industry.
Kollenkark reflects on her time spent here at Fresno Christian.
“One of the best memories was sophomore year nots movie making! It was a blast because many people from our class came together to create a remake of another Cinderella story!”
No matter the circumstances of her high school career, stressful or praiseworthy, Kollenkark strives to remain optimistic and continues to search for the silver lining.
“I have learned so much at Fresno Christian,” said Kollenkark. “We’ve really focused and talked a lot about speaking life, seeking truth and serving others. This motto has made a big impact on me, personally.”
Christ is the priority of her life and an inner light exudes from her as she serves Him wherever she goes.
“He deserves to be praised. I truly want to be an example of Christ and I believe the best way to do that is to humble yourself and serve and seek the light of Jesus Christ.”
