Old Town Clovis’ Friday night Farmers Market has returned. The Farmers Market is fun for the whole family. Kids are welcome to play in the bounce houses and ride ponies on Fourth Street in the “kid’s zone”. People of all ages, are more than welcome to dance to the live music, located at the intersection of Fourth Street and Pollasky Avenue.
Old Town Clovis’s website states “This year there is over 30 certified organic producers for shoppers to choose from and multiple different food and craft vendors such as Sumner-Peck, Shasky Farms, G.T. Florists & Herbs and Mao Farms, as well as Certified organic producers like Farmer & the Dale. Our Farmers Market also supports the NOSH Program – “To Provide, To Nourish, To Give”. This “eat one-give one” program helps provide nourishing fresh fruits and vegetables to families in need distributed through five Clovis pantries.”
Come out Friday evening and take part in all the Farmers Market has to offer. Local vendors and farmers will sell their products and produce at the farmers market. Support your local farmers by purchasing fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables! There is a great list of bands for this summer, including Pamela Henri & the Big Boss Band, who kicked off the return on May 13.
According to examiner.com “You can visit the information booth in front of EECU on Pollasky Avenue to purchase a fun Clovis t-shirt, ask questions to the staff and learn about other upcoming events. Old Town is a hub of activity in Clovis, marking both a historical center of commerce and modern-day heart of the city, featuring fine dining, specialty boutiques, cozy cafes and enchanting antique stores.”
Old Town’s remarkable residential area environment does not yield the courtesies of today for the pleasant vibe of the past. Experience the appeal by going to one of the numerous occasions held in the city of Old Town Clovis or essentially making a trip to shop, eat, play or even just hang out.
The market takes place every Friday evening from May 13, 2016 to September 30, 2016 from 5:30 – 9 p.m. on Pollasky Avenue and Fourth Street in Old Town Clovis.
