National Grandparents Day is celebrated on the second Sunday of September; honoring the history of family, Sept. 11.
The day honors grandparent’s as the backbone of our communities. Supporting, leading and sharing a special bond that can only be shared between grandchildren.
The 25th annual Fresno Christian Grandparents Day is right around the corner. Students will show their grandparents around campus and what life is like at FC. Taking them into their classes and then enjoy a well prepared lunch with their grandchildren.
Maicy Luginbill, ’18 , Grandma has joined her since kindergarten,
“Every year my grandparents come to hang out with me and my cousins, Luginbill said,” It’s so fun to be able to bring them to class and show them what I do everyday. They can meet my friends; then we get to have lunch together. Grandparents Day is one of my favorite days of the year. I’m thankful that I go to a school that hosts it.”
Come join us to celebrate the 25th annual Grandparents Day , Sept. 30.
