FC varsity cheerleaders practice for their cheer competitions this winter. This year’s cheer routine will consist of new choreography and stunting.
The team has been practicing three days a week at 7 a.m. throughout their first period class. This season, they will be attending four competitions in town and one in San Gabriel Mountains at Azusa Pacific University. The girls will compete at Buchanan High School, Clovis High, Clovis West, and FCC.
Megan Raynes, ’19, has been enjoying cheer since pre-school.
“It’s a challenge and I think that as a team we bond and step up to the challenge; its an overall good experience.”
