Spanish Club Advisor Beatriz Foth asked for Spanish Club members to take their shoes off before they attended the Christmas meeting, Dec. 10.
Because of the Spanish tradition, that the three wise men put gifts in the children’s shoes by night, Jan. 5, for the children to see the presents in their shoes the next day, Foth decided to take part in the tradition in Spanish Club. After Spanish Club ended, members walked outside to see their shoes filled with a present. Along with the presents in their shoes, members also were able to get their Spanish Club t-shirts for this year’s Spanish Club. The t-shirts were made with Spanish saying, “Keep calm and canta y no llores” which was on the front of every shirt.
