[/media-credit] Homecoming Royal battle began with the kings, Oct. 6. Some of the crowd’s favorite songs were, “Kung Fu Fighting,” “Wobble,” and “Thriller.”

Homecoming Royal battle began with the kings, Oct. 6.  Some of the crowd’s favorite songs were, “Kung Fu Fighting,” “Wobble,” and “Thriller.”

It took the boys about two weeks to perfect the choreography and to be ready to perform. The routine was choreographed by Damien Boyce, ’17.

Senior, Phillip Christopher, one of the king candidates that participated in the Royal Battle.

“I was feeling great before the days leading up to the dance but right before we went onstage is when the nerves started coming in. I thought that we did really well and we had a lot of energy on stage.”

The Royal Battle is an annual tradition at Fresno Christian performed during homecoming week.

The homecoming court will be announced at half time, Oct. 7.
