The Eagles will look to finish off their season successfully at their final home game for senior night against the Fowler Redcats, Oct. 25. Seniors Jennifer King, Juliette Davila, Mariana Radoidich and Hannah Nale will be recognized for their hard work at 5:30 p.m. in the FC gym before the game.

Two of the four seniors have been playing on varsity since their freshman year. Nale is grateful for the opportunity she has had to play the sport she loves on varsity for all years of her high school career, as well as being able to spread God’s word.

“I have played on our high school varsity volleyball team since freshman year.” Nale said. “I can’t just choose one favorite thing about volleyball cause I love it all. My team is so fun and I enjoy growing with them everyday! I also love getting the opportunity to pray with each team after our games and to be able to spread God’s word while doing what I love is amazing!”

Finishing up her last high school volleyball season, Jenny King, ‘17, is thankful for the opportunity to compete with her team, as well as having success. King has also been on varsity since her freshman year and served as a team captain for her final season.

“I have been on the varsity volleyball team since freshman year,” King said. “I love getting to grow with my team and work hard for every win. This by far has been my favorite year to play because of the great potential and skill that my team has.”

In her second year playing with the seniors, sophomore Kaylie Clem is appreciative of the upperclassmen pouring into her life, on the court and off. Clem notes that the seniors leadership has not only helped her on the court but also in her everyday life.

“They have shown me how to always look for the best in all situations, forgive yourself and efficiently work as a team,” Clem said. “They have taught me so many volleyball skills and also ways to handle situations in daily life. They have also taught me by example to never give up.”
