Dear editor:
The science of physics is used every day in our modern day world. This fact could have been portrayed more clearly in the article ?Physics labs tests bridge strength? by Jennifer Rose.
The article made good use of quotes from people from people at this school, but what about other people outside our little school? What about the opinion of the U.S. Military Academy, for example?
Physics affects every day of our lives, from the houses we live in and to the buildings we learn in. Engineers that build our bridges and skyscrapers so that they won?t collapse on top of us when a gust of wind hits the side or some heavyset person jumps at the top floor constantly work to make us safe. Engineers and physicists save our lives every day, and what thanks do we give them?
They should have our undying acknowledgement.
