To open the 2013-’14 San Joaquin Valley Town Hall lecture series, bank fraud expert Frank Abagnale speaks to an audience at Tower Theater at 7 p.m., Oct. 15. Alongside his speech, Abagnale presents a PowerPoint, showing the listeners how to protect themselves from identity theft.

Abagnale also spoke at the usual Town Hall lecture in the Saroyan Theater where he shared his life story, including details that differed from the movie adaption of his life, Catch Me if You Can at 10:30 a.m., Oct. 16. His story has also inspired a book, a Broadway musical and the current TV series White Collar.
