Freshmen Kayden Marquez and Kayla Vanderlinden are gearing up for the annual powderpuff game, Nov. 16
High school classes put together teams of girls coached by volunteer boy classmates. Time is limited making lunch the best practice time.
Sophomores are concerned about how they will do in the upcoming game.
“I’m worried because we are going to be short of players,” Sophomore Julia Fikse said. “Our coaches have never played Fresno Christian football before.. so it seems like they don’t really know what they’re doing.”
This years Juniors were the winners of last years game, and expected winners this year.
Come out and support your Fresno Christian HS girls powderpuff teams on Nov. 18 at 3:30 p.m. The winners of the first games will compete in the championship game at 6:30 p.m. for winning title and bragging rights.
