Junior high selling candy grams
As Valentine’s Day approaches, many people are thinking about acts of kindness that they can show to other people. California Junior Scholastic Federation (CJSF) has given the FC campus an opportunity to brighten someone else’s day by sending them candy grams.
When a student receives a candy gram they receive a small bag of candy as well as a note from the person who purchased the gift. CJSF has been packing the candy grams and writing the notes since the day they began selling, Jan. 28.
CJSF is selling candy grams for $1 at lunch until Feb. 9. Every student is allowed to send as many candy grams as they want until supplies run out.
One of the many CJSF members, Owen Monkey, ’21, is hoping candy grams will make student’s days better.
“I feel like the reason to give out candy grams to friends family, and people you care about is so that it brightens their day,” Owen said. “I know that I will be sending a lot of candy grams to make people’s days brighter.”
Rylee Schwab, ’21, another CJSF member has been helping to pack candy grams. She is excited to be able to pass them out to her friends.
“I love sending candy grams to people that I love and care about so that they feel special,” Schwab said. “I can’t wait to be able to pass them out to everyone that has got one.”
This Valentine’s Day season make some else’s day brighter by sending them a candy gram from CJSF.
