Andrew Palau holds the bucket of prayer cards given to students to fill out as he speaks to the student body during today’s chapel, Feb. 2.

Son of Luis Palau, Andrew Palau has been a part of the Luis Palau Association as an evangelist for over 20 years.

His message to students was to find peace in God and look for evangelistic opportunities within the Fresno community.

Prayer cards allowed students to fill out prayer requests they had for family and friends. With these cards, the Fresno CityFest Prayer Team will also pray for these people.

He also spoke to students about past mistakes in his early life and experiences that led him to become a follower of Jesus.

Andrew is from Portland, Oregon, close to the headquarters of Palau Ministry with his wife, Wendy, and their three children.

In 2009, he started to work with his father on his radio feature, Reaching Your World with Luis Palau. Every Friday Palau would give a two-minute messages on 855 radio.

He uses his own experiences from his past to share the Gospel to people worldwide. He wrote The Secret Life of a Fool to teach Christians to never give up.

While Palau works along side with his father, he also preaches at festivals of his own in the United States and countries such as: Rwanda, Romania, Egypt, Mexico, India, Poland, and Jamaica. 

He will be joining his father in the Fresno CityFest at the Save Mart Center, April, 1-2.
