Macie Thompson, ‘19, sings “Respect” with ensemble during the Valentine’s concert, Feb. 11.

Lady’s ensemble and choir participate in the annual Valentine’s concert put on by music teacher Susan Ainley. This years concert was titled “Somebody to Love”. The night consisted of popular and classic love songs written throughout the years.

Over the course of two months they have been rehearsing and practicing for the event.

Half way through the program, choir and ensemble members brought out desserts and food for intermission. Guests were also encouraged to donate money for the upcoming Heritage festival.

Choir and ensemble ended the night with the song “Somebody to Love”.
