Roy Brown, ’17, is one of 11 seniors announced during senior night against Fowler, Feb. 14.

Seniors on the girls basketball team also receive recognition at the beginning of their game. Varsity boys basketball includes 13 players, 12 of which are playing as seniors. Girls basketball consists of 13 girls, two being seniors.

Brown’s passion for basketball began in 3rd grade. After continuing to play for the next nine years, he enjoys the opportunity to play as a senior.

“As a senior I have grown a lot by learning from my mistakes” Brown said. “Senior night was very exciting and the energy from the crowd was great. It was also great to beat Fowler.”

Playoffs will begin Feb. 22 for boys and girls basketball.
