Kindergarten teacher Amy Witters helps her students create projects for the end of the year open house, May 3. Witters has taught at FCS for 20 years.
As her last year of teaching before retirement comes to a close she shares what her students will present at open house.
“Parents are given ‘K’ all year scrapbook, a writing book made up of the child’s writing from beginning of kindergarten to the end,” Witters said. “Our room is decorated with Ocean Theme projects and a special writing project ‘What I Want To Be When I Grow Up’.”
Witters favorite part of teaching is spending time with the kindergarteners.
The annual open house will be May 9. All of elementary will present projects they have completed throughout the year.
