All over the world car enthusiasts come together every year to be at the famous Car Week in Monterey California, Aug. 11- 20. 

Thousands of different car models come together during this time to display their uniqueness. The owners prepare their cars by restoring and fixing them so that they are in superb condition. 

The entire week people visit varias automobile auctions to bid on anything from cars to boats. Russo and Steele, Gooding and Company and Mecum Auctions are just some of the places bidders attend. 

Cars sold anywhere from thousands to millions at these events. The most expensive automobile sold was a 1956 Aston Martin DBRI for a grand total of $22,550,000 because of it’s rarity.
