The senior class of 2018 embarks on a journey to the annual Senior Retreat at Hume Lake, Sept. 24.
Students are encouraged to participate in multiple different activities and challenges such as a ropes course, roller skating and archery.
The class split into five different groups, making up skits and chants to entertain their classmates. After a long day, students gathered around a campfire. Many students shared tears and laughs while looking back at memories and encouraging their classmates.
John Cox from Riverpark Bible Church spoke at morning and evening chapels.
For Stephen Walters, ’18, senior retreat was a trip he looked forward to.
“Senior retreat was an opportunity to bond with my classmates” Walters said. “I really enjoyed being able to hang out with all of my classmates during free time and the ropes course because it challenged us to encourage each other and work past our fears.”
