Astronaut Scott Kelly, retired US Navy Captain and flight engineer for the international space station speaks at the Saroyan Theatre for the annual San Joaquin Valley Town Hall evening event, Sept. 27.
He spent 382 days in space, holding the record for the longest number of consecutive days in space by an American astronaut.
Kelly spoke about how he achieved his goals and succeeded in his field, while sharing about his struggle throughout school and how he overcame the obstacles presented to him.
“I never stayed satisfied,” Kelly said. “The key to success is to constantly make corrections.”
