Campus students (left to right) Kaden Friesen, ‘21, Ashley Zamarripa, ’19, Alina Davila, ’19, Blake Burdan, ’20, and Annabelle Messer, ’20, show their homecoming spirit for “‘Merica Monday,” Oct. 2.
Students sport their most patriotic gear in order to earn points for their class and to show their support for the first dress up day of homecoming 2017.
New student from Mississauga, Ontario, Canada, Blake Burdan, ‘20, enjoys ‘Merica Monday because of the opportunity to express patriotism.
“I love ‘Merica Monday because it allows us to show our appreciation and respect to the nation that we live in,” Burdan said. “I love and support America, and I am always happy to represent this great nation.”
Leadership encourages students to bring and show off their biggest, brightest, and most extravagant hats, for Tuesday’s dress-up day, “Topper Tuesday.”
