Wyman shares, “If I’m trying, I’m flying. If I don’t, I won’t.” This was inspiration for him while he was in football. Through sharing this quote Wyman hopes to encourage students to focus on a goal and work toward accomplishing it.
For the past twenty years, Champions for Tomorrow has brought professional athletes to Central Valley Schools. It is the largest program of its type in the United States. Athletes share personal struggles and stories with their audience encouraging them to set goals and strive to reach them.
Champions for Tomorrow is a non-profit organization fitting in with FC Homecoming 2017’s theme, Homecoming for Humanity. Their mission statement is, “Inspiring our youth to reach for success.”
